JSK IP Suite Alternatives in India (2026)
JSK IP Suite is a well-known docketing tool in India. This guide explains when to look beyond it, which alternatives suit which job, and what each costs, last verified October 2026.
Buyer’s Guide · IP Software
Most Indian IP teams start with a docketing tool, and then discover that a diary of deadlines is only half the job. The other half happens in court: infringement suits, passing off, hearings and orders. This guide is for teams who use or are considering JSK IP Suite and want to know which alternatives exist in India, what each is good at, and what it costs. Last verified October 2026.
- JSK IP Suite pricing: hosted Rs 2.25L to 5L one-time, or cloud Rs 250 to 1,800 per record per year plus Rs 35,000 a year, GST extra (jskipsuite.com, October 2026).
- Best for very high-volume docketing: JSK or Iolite.
- Best for all-in-one India registry plus court tracking: Claw, bundled at Rs 10,999 per year (excl GST).
- Global portfolios: Anaqua, Clarivate or Dennemeyer. US-first: Alt Legal.
- Last verified: October 2026.
01Why teams look past a docketing tool
An IP docketing tool stores your marks, patents and designs, and reminds you of deadlines. That is essential, and it is also only one layer of how IP work actually runs in India.
Deadlines live in more than one place
A trademark has a ten-year life under the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and renewal is filed on Form TM-R. Late filing has a grace period with a surcharge, and after that the mark can be removed. Patents have annual renewal fees and statutory response windows. Each of these needs a reminder that someone actually sees.
The dispute side sits outside the docket
When a conflicting mark appears in the Trade Marks Journal, or a copycat sells your product, the matter moves to opposition, a legal notice, or a suit before a High Court IP Division. A docketing tool records your own filings. It usually does not follow the court matters that grow out of them.
Cost shape matters
Some tools charge per record, some charge once for a licence, and some bundle IP into a wider subscription. Which is cheaper depends on how many records you hold, not on the headline price.
Two sides of IP work
The registry side is IP India filings, journal, renewals and hearings. The court side is suits, orders and cause lists. Many Indian teams manage them in two places. For a cost view of the first year, see IP software year-1 cost for 500 trademarks.
02What JSK IP Suite costs (published, October 2026)
JSK IP Suite is an India-built docketing and management product for trademarks, patents, designs and copyright, and it publishes its prices. This is a real strength, because most IP software is quote-only.
- Hosted (on your own server), one-time: Rs 2,25,000 (Trademark only or Patent only), Rs 3,50,000 (Lite), Rs 5,00,000 (Full).
- Cloud, per record per year: trademarks about Rs 250 to 300, patents about Rs 1,400 to 1,800, copyright and designs about Rs 160 to 300.
- Cloud fixed annual fee: Rs 35,000, plus Rs 900 per additional user per year.
- GST: the vendor states GST is added as applicable, so treat all figures as before GST.

JSK also lists case management and hearing management for your IP matters. Its published materials do not describe a court or litigation module that watches High Court dockets for new suits.
A per-record price rewards small portfolios, and a one-time hosted licence rewards large ones. The break-even point is the number to calculate before you buy.
03What good IP software looks like
Judge any tool, JSK or an alternative, on five points.
- Registry coverage: trademarks, patents, designs and GI, with renewals, annuities and hearing dates tracked.
- Watch quality: whether it checks the Trade Marks Journal for conflicting marks, and whether it matches by text, sound and look.
- Court coverage: whether it tracks IP suits and orders in the High Court IP Divisions and other courts.
- Portfolio scale: whether it stays fast and affordable at your record count, and handles bulk updates.
- Cost model: per record, one-time, per seat or bundled, with GST stated.
No tool wins every point. The honest question is which job you do most often. For the cost-model trade-off in detail, read perpetual vs subscription IP software in India.
04JSK IP Suite alternatives in India, by job
There is no single best replacement. The list below is ordered by the job each tool does best, and JSK is included because it is the baseline many readers compare against.
JSK IP Suite (the baseline)
A published-price, India-built docketing specialist for trademark and patent portfolios.
Strengths
- Prices are published, with a one-time hosted option and a per-record cloud option.
- Built around Indian trademark and patent workflows, including hearings and documents.
- A hosted licence can be economical for very large portfolios, since cost does not rise with record count.
Keep in mind
- Cloud cost rises with every record, and patents cost more per record than trademarks.
- Public materials do not show a court or litigation module for IP suits.
Best for High-volume IP firms that want specialist per-record docketing.
Iolite
An India-focused IP management product used for docketing.
Strengths
- Aimed at IP firms with heavy docketing volume.
- Positioned around Indian trademark and patent processes.
Keep in mind
- Pricing is not clearly published, so budget needs a vendor quote.
- Check directly whether court-side tracking is included.
Best for Specialist IP firms comparing docketing depth against JSK.
Claw
An all-in-one India IP platform that joins registry tracking and court tracking.
Strengths
- Its IPR Solutions tab tracks IP India matters for trademarks, patents, designs and GIs, with pending compliances, hearings, documents and tasks.
- Journal conflict monitoring using text, phonetic and visual matching, with alerts.
- Tracks IP litigation across Indian courts with a case website, including Delhi IPD case-type codes, plus IP judgment research over 30 crore+ judgments.
- IP is bundled into Premium at Rs 1,099 per month (Rs 10,999 per year, excl GST) or Enterprise, so there is no per-record charge to model.
Keep in mind
- It does not yet track copyright registration. For copyright it is court-side only.
- For very-high-volume specialist docketing, JSK or Iolite go deeper.
- It is not a global multi-jurisdiction annuity tool.
Best for Teams that want registry and court work in one India-first platform at a bundled price.
Anaqua, Clarivate and Dennemeyer
Global IP management and annuity platforms for multi-country portfolios.
Strengths
- Built for portfolios across many countries, including annuity payments.
- Suited to large corporate IP departments and multinational filers.
Keep in mind
- Typically quote-based and priced for enterprise budgets.
- India-specific court tracking is not their focus.
Best for Global portfolios where multi-jurisdiction docketing is the main need.
Alt Legal
IP docketing software designed first for the United States and Canada.
Strengths
- Strong fit for USPTO-first and CIPO-first filing work.
- Modern cloud workflow for IP teams.
Keep in mind
- India registry workflows are not its centre of gravity.
Best for Teams whose filings are mostly in the US or Canada.
Other specialist needs are served by other tools. AI prior-art and structure search is the strength of PatSnap, Questel and IPRally. Mass marketplace takedowns suit Red Points and Corsearch. Technology transfer office lifecycle work suits Wellspring and Inteum. We name them so you do not expect any docketing tool to cover these.

06How to choose
Start from your record count and your risk, then pick.
If you run thousands of records for many clients, a specialist like JSK or Iolite is hard to beat on docketing depth, and a hosted licence may be cheapest at scale. If your portfolio is global, look at Anaqua, Clarivate or Dennemeyer. If you file mainly in the US or Canada, Alt Legal fits. If your work is India-centred and you also face oppositions, infringement and High Court matters, an all-in-one platform that joins registry and court tracking saves you from running two systems.
Two checks before you sign anything. First, count your records and compute the per-record cost against the licence cost. Second, ask whether a missed deadline and a missed court order are tracked in one place. For a worked comparison of one registry tool against another, see Claw vs QuickCompany trademark watch. For one example of a statutory deadline tools must handle, see patent extension of time under Form 4 and Rule 138.
07Where Claw fits
Claw is an all-in-one legaltech platform for Indian advocates, law firms, and corporate legal teams, combining AI-based case search, an AI legal assistant (Legal GPT), case management, and compliance automation across all Indian courts and tribunals.
For IP, Claw’s position is simple. It is built for the all-in-one India job: registry side and court side in one platform. The IPR Solutions tab follows IP India matters across trademarks, patents, designs and GIs, watches the Trade Marks Journal for conflicting marks, and lists pending compliances such as trademark renewals and patent annuity and response deadlines. Alongside that, Claw follows IP litigation across Indian courts with a case website, including the High Court IP Divisions, and gives research over 30 crore+ judgments. It covers 9,102 courts, benches and forums.
Claw also has limits. It does not yet track copyright registration with the Copyright Office, and it is not the deepest tool for very-high-volume specialist docketing or for global annuities. IP is part of the Premium plan (Rs 1,099 per month or Rs 10,999 per year, excl GST) or Enterprise. There is no separate IP-only plan. There is a free plan for individual advocates, but not for enterprises. Claw does not use customer case documents to train AI models.
